I Never Wanted to Podcast

I'll be the first to admit it: I hate the sound of my own voice. So when my agent suggested starting a podcast, every cell in my body recoiled. As a writer and researcher, I'm always on the lookout for new ways to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for understanding achievement. But I have to confess, I can be a bit set in my ways. I like things on my own terms, and trying something new isn't always easy for me.

But despite my reservations, I didn't want to let down the people who believed in me. So I gave it a try. And let me tell you, the first few episodes were a mess. I stumbled over my words, rambled on for too long, and made every mistake in the book. But gradually, with each episode, I began to find my footing. And before I knew it, I was totally obsessed with podcasting!

Podcasting is like the ultimate tool for research, refinement, and connection all rolled into one. When I was researching for my first book, Sea Change, I was meeting the professors that had created the spark of an idea that I built my passion on. That's when I discovered just how valuable podcasting could be in helping me achieve my goals and share my message with a wider audience.

Through podcasting, I've been able to dive deep into the topics I write about and explore them in real time with my guests building on my work. And let me tell you, the insights and perspectives that come from these conversations are truly mind-blowing. By engaging in meaningful conversations I was able to refine the education I worked so hard for. I've gained a whole new level of understanding through collaboration, building expertise that I never would have found on my own.

But that's not all - podcasting is also a powerful tool for connection. Through podcasting, I've been able to connect with some of the most amazing people in the world, from leading experts and professors to everyday individuals who are passionate about achieving their goals. And it's not just about the guests - it's about the community of listeners who are eager to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded individuals. I would have never imagined the feedback, about how sharing my story helped them connect the dots in their own life.

And let me tell you, the connection doesn't stop there. Through podcasting, I've been able to connect more deeply with myself and my message. By exploring topics in real-time and engaging in meaningful conversations with my guests, I've been able to connect more deeply with the lessons that I am trying to share in my work. And as I've grown and evolved through this process, I've discovered new insights and perspectives that have helped me become a better writer, speaker, and researcher.

So if you're looking for a game-changing tool for research, refinement, and connection, give podcasting a try. It's free, super easy, and in no time you will find your army of like-minded comrades eager to hear what's on your mind. Whether you're a writer, speaker, or just someone who is bursting at the seems to talk about your passion, podcasting can help you dive deep, connect with amazing people, and grow in ways you never thought possible.

Trust me, once you start, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it! Because even if you don't like your voice, (like me) you have a story somebody needs to hear.

Talk soon,

Audrey
